Who this policy covers

Timzi is a workforce-management platform provided by Dev Innovations Labs. This policy covers the Timzi website and mobile application. Your employer or organization manages its workspace, decides which employee records to maintain, and controls access through administrator, HR, manager and employee roles.

For employment records managed by your organization, contact its HR team or administrator as well as Timzi when appropriate. Your organization’s employment and privacy policies may also apply.

Information we process

  • Account and organization details: names, work contact information, profile details, organization information, roles and authentication records.
  • Workforce records: information entered by you or authorized colleagues, such as employment details, attendance, leave, salary records, projects, tasks, policies and onboarding responses.
  • Uploaded files: profile images, employee documents and company-verification documents that you or your organization submit.
  • Attendance verification: when your organization enables it, a camera photo and/or your current precise location, accuracy and capture time are collected when you confirm a punch. The photo is compared with your HR-approved reference photo using a face-verification service. Verification outcomes and attendance photos are retained with the attendance record; the verification service processes the images without retaining a separate image or face-embedding cache. Location is not collected in the background by this attendance feature.
  • Billing and support records: selected plans, subscription identifiers, payment status, invoice references and information you provide in enquiries.
  • Technical information: session information, browser or app preferences, request diagnostics and usage information used to operate and secure the service.

The information available in your workspace depends on the features your organization uses. Upload only information you are authorized to provide.

How information is used

Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, deliver workforce features, apply organization permissions, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, troubleshoot errors and help protect the service against misuse.

When you use assistant features, your question and relevant workspace context may be processed by the configured AI service. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in questions or attachments.

Access and service providers

Authorized people in your organization can access records according to their assigned role and permissions. Workspace administrators determine which people have these roles.

Timzi relies on infrastructure and service providers for hosting, file storage, email and payment processing. The platform uses Google Cloud Storage for uploaded files and Razorpay for subscription checkout and payment processing. Payment information entered in Razorpay checkout is handled through Razorpay; Timzi stores payment and subscription references needed for billing verification and history.

Information may also be disclosed where necessary to handle a support request, protect the service or respond to a lawful requirement. Third-party websites and payment services have their own privacy notices.

Storage, sessions and retention

Timzi uses authentication, access controls and protected file access to limit access to workspace data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and report unexpected access promptly.

The website and app use browser or device storage for sign-in sessions, preferences and checkout recovery. Signing out or clearing local storage does not delete records held in your organization’s workspace.

Account and workspace records are retained while needed to provide the service and for relevant employment, billing, security, dispute-handling or legal obligations. Removing a record from normal access may archive it rather than immediately erase every copy. Billing records, audit history and backups may have different retention requirements.

There is no single retention period for all workforce records. When handling a deletion request, Timzi and the relevant organization must identify what can be removed, what must be retained, the reason and the applicable timeline. See account and data deletion for the request process.

Your choices

You can ask about the information associated with your account, request corrections, or request account and associated-data deletion. Some information can be updated in your profile; organization-controlled records may require HR or administrator assistance. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and the organization’s responsibilities.

Identity or authority may need to be verified before records are disclosed, changed or deleted. You can make a request even if you cannot sign in or no longer have the mobile app.
